Patna: Triumphant Cricket Academy and Basawan Park Cricket Academy (BPCA) have both secured their places in the quarterfinals of the Dr Parmeshwar Dayal Memorial Under-13 Inter-School Cricket Tournament. Triumphant Cricket Academy triumphed over YCC Cricket Academy by 5 wickets, while BPCA defeated SPS CCC by 21 runs.
In the first match, Triumphant Cricket Academy won the toss and elected to invite YCC Cricket Academy to bat. YCC were bowled out for 108 runs in 19 overs. In response, Triumphant Cricket Academy scored 109 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 21.2 overs to clinch the victory. Coach Mukesh Kumar awarded the Rize Coaching Player of the Match accolade to Adarsh from the winning team, who took 4 wickets for 20 runs.
In the second match, BPCA won the toss and set a target of 142 runs for 6 wickets in 25 overs, thanks to Aditya’s commendable 50 runs. SPS CCC managed to score 121 runs for 9 wickets in their allotted 25 overs. Om Prakash was named Man of the Match for his outstanding performance with the ball, taking 3 wickets, and received the Rize Coaching Player of the Match award from umpire Mukul Kumar.
