Patna, June 12: Team A and Team C won their respective matches played on Wednesday under the BCA Under-15 Women’s One Day Trophy. Team A defeated Team B by 77 runs while Team C defeated Team D by 8 runs. Saloni Kumari (50 runs), Riya Singh (65 runs) from Team A, Deepa (61 runs) from Team B and Prachi Singh (57 runs) from Team C scored half-centuries.
In this way, Team A and Team C entered the finals of this trophy. In the tournament played between four teams, the team won all its matches and entered the finals by being on top of the points table.
Team B, Team C and Team D won 1 match in four matches and lost in two. All these three teams have 3 points each but due to better run rate, Team C (-1.305) finished second and got the ticket to the final. Team B’s net run rate is (-1.351) and Team D’s is (-1.348).
Team A drubs Team B
In this match played at Moinul Haq Stadium, Team A won the toss and decided to bat first. Team A batted first and scored 242 runs for 8 wickets after losing all wickets in 35 overs.
