Ranchi: Hockey Jharkhand steamrollered Hockey Chandigarh 11-0 to enter the semi-finals of the 13th Hockey India National Sub-Junior Women’s National Championship 2023 at Birsa Munda International Hockey Stadium in Rourkela (Odisha) on Thursday.
For Jharkhand, Sweety Dungdung and Jamuna Kumari scored five goals each while Ankita Minj scored one goal. Earlier, Hockey Jharkhand defeated Hockey Uttarakhand 4-0 and Hockey West Bengal 18- 0.
Hockey India secretary and Hockey Jharkhand president Bholanath Singh, Sports Director, Government of Jharkhand Sarojini Lakra and office-bearers of Hockey Jharkhand and Sports Department officials have congratulated and congratulated the Jharkhand girls.
