Mahakumbhnagar: With the New Year ushering in excitement for the grand Mahakumbh event, the influx of devotees to Prayagraj has begun gaining momentum. The Yogi government’s robust preparations are evident as large numbers of pilgrims from across India and abroad have started arriving in Mahakumbh city.

On January 1, the Central Hospital in Prayagraj witnessed a remarkable turnout, treating 900 patients on the very first day of the year. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, the hospital is providing healthcare services comparable to major national medical institutions.

In a significant addition, ECG facilities were made operational from the first day of the year, enhancing the hospital’s ability to deliver high-quality medical care to pilgrims and visitors.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath envisions the Mahakumbh as a grander and more divine event than any previous Kumbh, showcasing Uttar Pradesh’s excellence on the global stage. To achieve this, he has carefully appointed top officials for its management.

Pilgrims from various states have already started arriving at Mahakumbh and availing healthcare services. The dedication of the medical staff is noteworthy, with doctors often stepping forward to assist patients personally.

Dr. Gaurav Dubey, the Nodal Medical Officer of the Mahakumbh Mela, shared that on the first day of the year, the Central Hospital treated 900 outpatients. Each day, 800 to 900 individuals from different parts of the country are benefiting from the hospital’s healthcare facilities.

Specialist doctors have taken charge of providing exceptional care at Mahakumbh, following CM Yogi Adityanath’s directives to offer state-of-the-art medical facilities. ECG services have been introduced, and the Central Pathology Lab now conducts over 100 tests daily. Pilgrims can avail themselves of more than 50 free diagnostic tests, ensuring comprehensive healthcare during the event.

This year, Mahakumbh is leveraging advanced technology with remarkable efficiency. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is being used to eliminate language barriers between patients and doctors. Pilgrims speaking any language can communicate their issues, and AI technology ensures that doctors fully understand their needs and provide effective treatment.

For the first time in India, a high-tech AI messaging flow system has been implemented in Prayagraj. This innovative initiative by the Yogi government is set to enhance intensive care by interpreting 22 regional and 19 international languages. The system enables doctors to understand patients’ concerns effortlessly, making healthcare at Mahakumbh more accessible and inclusive.
