Patna: YCC and MCC won their respective matches in the Patna District Junior Division Cricket League on Sunday.
In the match played at Khemnichak Ground, YCC defeated Anisabad CC by 8 runs while MCC defeated Navshakti Niketan by 34 runs at Mangal Talab ground.
YCC won the toss and decided to bat first. Playing first, YCC scored 220 runs losing all wickets in 25 overs thanks to the brilliant batting of Sushant Azad (100 runs) and Piyush (84).
In reply, Anisabad CC scored 212 for 7 off 25 overs. Shambhu made 74 runs. Sushant Azad of the winning team was given the player of the match award.
At Mangal Talab Ground, MCC won the toss and batting first scored 185 runs for seven wickets in 25 overs. Rishu Kumar scored 82 runs.
In reply, Navshakti Niketan were all out for 151 runs in 20.1 overs. Anit Kishore scored 28 runs. MCC’s Rishu was given the player of the match award.
