Patna: Super Challenge Under-13 Cricket Tournament will be organised from August 30 at Cricket Academy of Bihar (CAB) Ground under the aegis of Track Social Welfare Society. This information was given by the organising president and former captain of the Indian Youth cricket team, Amikar Dayal. He said that this tournament would be organised with technical support of Sardar Patel Sports Foundation and Santosh Tiwari, general secretary of the foundation, would be the organising secretary.
Organising secretary Santosh Tiwari said that our foundation focuses on school cricket. So far, many great events have been organized for this purpose. He said that talent emerges out of school tournaments organised by Sardar Patel Sports Foundation are currently playing for Bihar team.
He said that a total of 16 teams would be given entry. He said that the matches will be of 25 overs a side. For more information interested teams may contact organising secretary Santosh Tiwari (mobile number -9386962380). The last date of entry is August 29.
The winners and runners-up teams of this tournament will be given trophies besides individual prizes to the players. Along with this, the Man of the Match award will be given daily. Along with this, many awards including Player of the Tournament, Best Batsman, Best Bowler and Best Fielder will be given. In addition, budding players will be rewarded. Aadhaar card of birth certificate for age verification is mandatory.
