Successful Conclusion of ‘Search for Bowlers’ Programme: 25 Talented Bowlers Selected Across Bihar

Patna: The ‘Search for Bowlers’ programme organised by the Bihar Cricket Association (BCA) concluded successfully today at the Moinul Haq Stadium, Patna. This state-wide talent hunt witnessed the participation of over 4,000 aspiring bowlers from various districts of Bihar. Out of these, the top 20 male bowlers and top 5 female bowlers were selected.

Former Indian international cricketers Salil Ankola and Karsan Ghavri played a key role in the selection process, working alongside BCA selectors and coaches to evaluate the players’ skills and identify outstanding talent.

The chief guest of the event, Jayant Kant (DIG, CID, Bihar), was welcomed by BCA Secretary Ziaul Arfeen with a bouquet. On this occasion, the top 10 selected male bowlers were felicitated with cricket shoes by Jayant Kant, while the remaining selected players were awarded sports bags. In the women’s category, two players received shoes and the remaining three were presented with bags.

The prestigious event was graced by BCA Secretary Ziaul Arfeen and senior officials, including GM Anti-Corruption Ajit Pandey, Director of Cricket Development & Operations Anand Yalvigi, Men’s Player Representative Pawan Ji, Cricket Operations Head A. K. Chandan, and sponsor representatives Yogesh (Tiger Sports) and Vijay (AVISA), along with other dignitaries and staff.
