Ranchi: The 26th National Federation Cup Senior Athletics Championship will begin at Birsa Munda Stadium, Morabadi, Ranchi from Monday (May 15, 2023). The event will continue until May 18.
The championship is being organised under the joint aegis of the Athletics Federation of India (AFI), Jharkhand Athletic Association and Tourism, Art, Culture Sports and Youth Affairs Department, Ranchi.
According to C D Singh, secretary, Jharkhand Athletics Association, about 700 men and women athletes of international and national level and 150 technical officials, coaches will be participating in the four-day meet.
Sports Director Dr Sarojini Lakra, AFI Secretary Dr Ravindra Chaudhary, chief coach Dr Radha Krishna Nair, President of Jharkhand Athletics Association, Dr. Madhukant Pathak, Secretary CD Singh, SK Pandey, Ashish Jha, Prabhakar Verma, Anwar and other officials were monitoring the preparations for smooth conduct of the championship.
