Patna: The Investiture Ceremony of St. Karen’s High School , Patna for the academic session 2023-24 was held on Tuesday (16th May, 2023) with great pomp and dignity. To scale the height and reach the pinnacle of success, the school always strives to inculcate a sense of commitment and responsibility among students with their heads held high as the future leaders.
The Investiture ceremony held with such motto to invest the students with a sense of
responsibility and duty. The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp by all the dignitaries present for the occasion followed by a beautiful welcome dance by the senior students. The ceremony continued with the leader’s March by the members of the four houses followed by the pinning of the badges by the school Principal Mrs.Seema Singh After the pinning of badges, the oath ceremony took place where the council members pledged to carry out duties assigned to them with sincerity and efficiency.
The Guest of Honour Mrs.SuvernaSajwan , Commandant of SSB congratulated the newly appointed council members and said that they are a rare combination of valor, humility and competence. A garland of motivational words by the Director, Mr. D.P. Galustan guided the student council to be the role models and render their responsibilities sincerely, as the nation builders of tomorrow and be proud to be an Indian. He also advised the students to inculcate the values of punctuality, dedication, discipline and determination as they are the torch bearers of tomorrow.
Anjali Kumari and Sarwagya Anupam led the student council as the chosen head girl and
head boy respectively. Both of them in their speeches affirmed their missions and pledge to keep the flag of the school flying high The ceremony concluded with the school song followed by the National Anthem.
