Bhagalpur: A retired Bihar Military Police (BMP) personnel was killed by his son in Belsera village of Banka district on his refusal to give money demanded by him. The throat of victim Chamaklal Yadav (70 Yrs) was slit by his son identified as Pankaj Yadav on Monday morning this week by a sharp edged weapon.
As per family members of the victim the culprit in bad habit of gambling had demanded Rs sixty thousand from his father supposedly for gambling. The culprit fourth among seven siblings has long time bad habit of gambling, according to the family members.
The victim who had retired in past from post of Jamadar had expressed his inability to meet his demand informing him that he had no spare money to give him. The culprit however mounted pressure on victim to meet his demand.
Infuriated over denial of victim to give money, the victim attacked him with sharp edged weapon. As information the culprit confined his wife and children in a room before committing the heinous crime.
The culprit reportedly fled the scene after murdering his father. A FIR naming the culprit was lodged by his elder brother Janardan Yadav at Shambhuganj police station in connection with the murder.
