Patna: The annual general meeting of the Softball Association of Bihar was held under the chairmanship of President Gautam Kanodia on Tuesday.
Many important decisions were taken in this general meeting, held at a local hotel in the city. Among the other decisions taken, the meeting has decided to suspend Karthik Mehta from the association for anti-association activities. The association has also served him a show cause notice. The meeting also decided to elect two assistant secretaries and a vice president for the association.
Ravi Rai has been made the chairman of the development committee. Vijay Kumar and Pramod Kumar will be the committee members. It was decided to release the annual sports calendar of softball. The financial account was also presented by the treasurer, Pawan Kumar Pappu, which was passed unanimously.
During this, Prachi Sharma, the secretary of the association, virtually attended the meeting. It was decided that the development committee would give its report to the joint secretary.
The meeting was attended by Ajay Narayan Sharma, co-patron advocate Jagannath Singh, chairman Meenu Singh, vice president Shagun Singh, vice president Pranav Pandey, vice president Rajshekhar, vice president Sanjay Singh, assistant secretary Narottam Kumar, former secretary Madhu Sharma, and representatives from 23 districts. The vote of thanks was proposed by Shashi Kumar.
