Social worker, educators, and sportspersons get Sabuj Tiwari Memorial Award

Patna: A felicitation ceremony was organized on Friday in the memory of women social worker Sabuj Tiwari on his death anniversary, sponsored by Khiladi Pro under the aegis of the Sardar Patel Sports Foundation. In a function organized in the memory of Sabuj Tiwari, mother of the foundation’s founder Santosh Tiwari, at Shri Ram Khel Maidan, Danapur Cantt, senior to budding cricketers, cricket promoters, and sports journalists, along with social workers and educationists from Patna were honoured.

On this occasion, players of the winning and runner-up teams of Sabuj Tiwari Memorial Cricket Tournament were also honoured.

On this occasion, Rajshekhar (joint convenor of BJP Sports Cell, Bihar Pradesh), Ronit Narayan (MD B.Tech Computer Education), Vijay Sharma (MD Turning Point), Ashwini Sharma (educationist), Saurabh Chakraborty (former senior cricketer), and Sumit Sharma (Sumit & Sharma Sports) felicitated everyone by giving them trophies, mementos and ang vastram.

Sabuj Tiwari Memorial Cricket Tournament’s best bowler Priyanshu, best bestman Chandan Kumar, best fielder Raj Neeraj, best wicketkeeper Ravi Kumar (all Kamodaki XI) and man of the series Rupesh Kumar (Sudarshan XI) were awarded. All the guests were welcomed by the general secretary of the foundation while the stage was conducted by announcer Mrityunjay Jha.
