Smart Move Academy ready to host 44th Senior National Throwball Championship

Gopalganj: Smart Move Academy located in Panchdeori block of Gopalganj district of Bihar is ready to host 44th Senior National (Women and Men) Throwball Championship being organised by Throwball Association of Gopalganj and Shining Souls Trust under the banner of Throwball Federation of India and Throwball Association of Bihar.

Organising secretary cum director of Smart Move Academy Rahul Sinha said that the grand opening of the championship will be held on March 25. The inauguration ceremony will be organsed in a ‘smart’ manner i.e. it will be grand. The opening ceremony will take place in two phases. In the first phase, there will be an opening ceremony through march past at 11 am, while in the second phase, the opening rally will start from Panchdeori block office to the venue at 3 pm.

He said that in the morning, president of Kushinagar Bhikshu Sangh AAAAB Gyaneshwar, District Magistrate Dr Nawal Kishore Chaudhary (IAS), Superintendent of Police Swarna Prabhat (IPS), Deputy Development Commissioner Abhishek Ranjan (IAS), General Secretary Throwball Federation of India Naresh Mann, along with the office-bearers of the federation and state associations will be present. In the opening rally, MLA of Kuchayakot assembly seat Amrendra Kumar Kumar Pandey alias Pappu Pandey, General Secretary of Kho-Kho Federation of India MS Tyagi, Block Development Officer cum of Panchdeori Block Manish Kumar Srivastava and many other dignitaries will be  present.

He said that 24 men and 24 women teams will participate in this championship. Almost all the teams have reached. Excellent transport arrangements have been made to bring the teams to the accommodation and venue. Transport arrangements have been made from Gorakhpur Railway Station, Airport, Siwan Railway Station, Gopalganj District Headquarters to bring players and officials.

He said that for the first time the matches of throwball would be played on mats. A total of three courts will be made on which matches will be played in day and night. The best arrangement of flood lights has been made for the night match.

The 24 teams participating in this competition have been divided into four groups. Six teams have been placed in each group.
