Patna: SKP Cricket Academy and State Coaching Centre won their respective matches played on Friday in the Kusumraj Maniam Gold Cup Under-17 Inter School Cricket Tournament at the Sanjay Gandhi Stadium here on Friday.
In the first match, SKP defeated Happy High School by four wickets. Suraj was adjudged the player of the match. In the second match, State Coaching Centre defeated Shri Ram Khel Maidan, Danapur by 45 runs. Managing Trustee of Kusumraj Maniam Public School Satish Kusumraj and Admin Director Dayanand Sharma gave away the player of the match award to Manjeet of the winning team.
In the first match, Happy High School won the toss and elected to bat, scored 147 runs for 8 wickets in 25 overs. In reply, SKP Cricket Academy scored 148 runs for six wickets in 24.4 overs.
In the second match, State Coaching Centre scored 207 runs for 1 wicket in 25 overs thanks to Manjeet’s unbeaten 119 runs while batting first after winning the toss. In reply, Shri Ram Khel Maidan could manage to score 162 runs for 8 wickets in 25 overs. State Coaching Center won the match by 45 runs.
