Patna: Boxing, golf, shooting, triathlon, aquatics and wushu teams of Bihar have been announced to participate in the 36th National Games being held in Gujarat. Boxing, aquatics and triathlon teams have left for Ahmedabad. The rest of the teams will depart in the coming days. This information was given by Bihar Olympic Association general secretary Mohammad Mushtaq Ahmed.
He said that before the departure of the team, the director general of Bihar State Sports Authority, Raveenndran Sankaran, director cum secretary Pankaj Raj encouraged the players and wished them victory.
Teams: Boxing: Aman Kumar, Manish Kumar, Haider Ali, Amit Kumar, Nishi Bhardwaj. Coach-Abhinav Giri and Vidya Rai.
Golf: Aman Raj. Coach cum Manager – Shashi Raj Sinha
Shooting: Shreyasi Singh. Coach cum Manager – Mrityunjay Singh.
Triathlon: Shashi Bhushan Singh. Coach cum Manager- Kumar Amit
Aquatics: Anmol Shwetraj, Aman Raj, Ankur Raj, Aayush Kumar, Mahi Shwetraj, Kritika Singh, Nilanjana Shil, Khushi. Coach- Satish Jyoti Bashi. Manager- Pramila Lal.
Wushu: Nidhi Kumari, Isha Mishra, Sapna Kumari, Amit Kumar Ram, Aman Kumar, Dilip Kumar, Ayush Thakur, Kumar Anand. Coach- Ravi Kumar, Manager- Bhanu Priya.
