Patna: Under the aegis of Sipahi Bhagat Sports Foundation, the Sipahi Bhagat Khel Samman Samaroh will be organized on August 28 on the occasion of Sports Day at Open Mind A Birla School, Danapur.
Giving this information, Principal of Open Minds A Birla School, Danapur, Shovika Yadav said that women cricketers, cricket coaches and women and men players of other sports including Patna district will be honored in this felicitation ceremony.
She said that Sipahi Bhagat Sports Foundation has always been ahead in doing social work. This sports honor ceremony has been started from last year. Many sports events have been organized successfully in the past years. She said that women players of other sports including women’s cricket in Bihar are bringing laurels to the state. This honor will create a new energy in them which will play an important role in the victory of Bihar in the days to come.
Shovika Yadav said that in recent years, from the Olympics to the Asian Games, Indian players have brought laurels to the country. He said that Open Mind A Birla School, Danapur, being an excellent educational institution, also understands its social responsibility and under that its contribution in social work is considerable.
Aman Kumar, Director of Open Minds A Birla School, Danapur said that many sports events will be organized in the coming days. He said that our aim is to create a better sports environment in the school. Sports not only lead to physical but also social and mental development. In the coming days, many sports competitions will be organized by Sipahi Bhagat Foundation in and outside the premises of Open Mind A Birla School, Danapur. He said that Sipahi Bhagat Foundation will work for the development of women sportspersons in Bihar.
