Patna: Shyamal Sinha Under-16 One Day Trophy organised by Bihar Cricket Association started today. On the first day, a total of three matches were played on different grounds. On the first day, Madhubani, Kishanganj and Aurangabad played brilliantly and won their respetive matches and made a strong start in the tournament.
Madhubani beat Sitamarhi by 6 wickets
Sitamarhi scored 98 runs for 10 wickets in 30.5 overs. Captain Tatya Shyamnandan Prasad Nandan scored 29, Ravinandan Kishore Kumar scored 17, Ankit Satish Verma scored 22 runs.
For Madhubani, Ujjwal Ravindra Raj took 4 wickets, Rishu Rajkaran Raj bagged 3 wickets and Captain Ayush Alok Raj captured 3 wickets.
In reply, Madhubani scored 99 runs for 4 wickets in 28.3 overs. Hrithik Vinod Kumar scored 50 runs in 76 balls with 8 fours and Shashank Shashi Gupta played an unbeaten innings of 30 runs.
For Sitamarhi, Md Saqib Akram took 2 wickets and Gautam Hari Anand 4 took 2 wickets.
Kishanganj Edge Past Madhepura by 1 wicket
Kishanganj won the toss and chose to bowl. Madhepura batted first and scored 109 runs for 10 wickets in 34.2 overs. Nihal Raj scored 18, Shubh Sharma scored 13 and Keshav Kumar scored 29 runs.
For Kishanganj, Ravi Sitaram Mahato took 2 wickets, Shamshad Ibrahim took 1 wicket, Nait Pradeep Das took 1 wicket and Prince Kumar Shah took 4 wickets.
In reply, Kishanganj scored 110 runs for 9 wickets in 36.5 overs. Captain Surya Ganesh Kumar scored 53 runs in 95 balls with eight fours, Abid Akhtar scored 11 runs and Ravi Sitaram Mahato played an unbeaten innings of 10 runs.
For Madhepura, Riyansh Amresh Rahul took 1 wicket, Captain Omkar Kumar bagged 4 wickets and Priyanshu Raj took 1 wicket and Anuj Kumar took 2 wickets.
Aurangabad Defeat Kaimur by one wicket
Aurangabad won the toss and chose to bowl. Kaimur scored 212 runs for 10 wickets in 40 overs. Siddharth Rajesh Kumar scored 29 runs, Mayank Narendra Raj scored 52 runs in 50 balls with 7 fours, Anshu Arya scored 46 runs and Shahnawaz Ishtiaq Ansari scored 25 runs.
For Aurangabad, Nandan Surajpat Kumar took 2 wickets, captain Saurav Ravindra Kumar took 2 wickets, Ishant Amit Kumar took 2 wickets and Himanshu Kumar Pandey took 2 wickets.
In reply, Aurangabad scored 203 runs for 9 wickets in 39 overs. Piyush Sunil Kumar scored a century (101 runs) with 13 fours in 105 balls. Himanshu Kumar Pandey scored 11, Ravi Ranjan Kumar scored 30, Ishant Amit Kumar scored scored 11 runs.
For Kaimur, captain Abhimanyu Laxman Singh took 1 wicket, Ansh Manoj Arman took 2 wickets, Sudhanshu Nandkishore Ranjan took 1 wicket and Shivam Anil Singh got 3 wickets.
