Patna: Senior RJD leader and MLA Bhai Virendra issued a stark warning to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, stating, “Nitish Kumar ji, we and our leaders are cautioning you. Some individuals within your own party are plotting to send you to the ‘kabr khane’ (burial ground).”
When questioned about whether a situation similar to 2015 is being recreated and if Lalu Yadav and Nitish Kumar could reunite, Bhai Virendra gave a startling response. He reiterated, “Nitish Kumar ji, we and our leaders are warning you. Certain people in your party are conspiring against you and aim to implement the ‘Eknath Shinde model’ seen in Maharashtra. You must remain vigilant and make the right decision.”
He added, “If Nitish Kumar decides to align with us, our leaders will consider it. We come from a socialist background and are committed to fighting against communalism. Ultimately, the decision rests solely with Nitish Kumar.”
When asked whether Nitish Kumar’s son, Nishant, would enter politics, Bhai Virendra replied, “That is a decision for Nitish Kumar himself to make. He will determine whether Nishant joins politics or not.”
Regarding Congress in-charge Kamleshwar’s statement that elections in Bihar would be contested by forming a coalition, Bhai Virendra commented, “This is a decision for the Congress to take. No individual’s statement will alter this reality. The Congress is with us, and in 2025, a government will be formed under the leadership of Tejashwi Yadav.”
When pressed on whether Tejashwi Yadav’s chances of becoming Chief Minister would be affected if Nishant entered politics, Bhai Virendra quipped, “Let’s not dwell on such matters. Who can predict whether a marriage will result in a son or a daughter? These are future uncertainties, and future matters will be decided in due course.”
However, he emphasised, “What is certain is that the BJP is planning to manipulate Nitish Kumar. The Eknath Shinde scenario is likely to be repeated in Bihar soon.”
