Patna: The semi-final line up of Rajkumar Mahaseth Memorial Patna District Senior Division Football League, being played under the auspices of Patna Football Association, has been decided. Patna Warriors, Energy Yoga, Raj Milk and Imperial Soccer have confirmed their places in the semi-finals.
In the first semi-final, Patna Warriors will face Energy Yoga on January 15, while in the second semi-final, Imperial Soccer will face Ra Milk on January 16.
On Saturday, January 13, the match played between City Athletic Club and Shukla FA under this league ended in a goalless draw. Ranjan Kumar of Shukla FA was given the Player of the Match award.
The second match was to be held between Civil Audit and Energy Yoga FA but both the teams did not reach the field by the scheduled time due to which the match could not be played.
Patna Football Association Secretary Manoj Kumar said that according to the points table, Patna Warriors remained at the top of Pool A while Raj Milk’s team stood at the second position. The Imperial Soccer team topped Pool B, while the Energy Yoga team stood second.
He said that on December 13, a match between GAC vs Shukla FA was played in which an allegation was lodged against Shukla FA that a wrong player was playing in the GAC team. The Protest Committee found the allegation to be true, and all three points of GAC were given to Shukla FA.
