Patna: Under the aegis of Patna District Kabaddi Association, the trial for the selection of potential players of Patna district participating in the state level sub-junior boys kabaddi tournament was organized at Dev Kabaddi Academy, Nathupur, Fatuha.
Giving this information, Patna District Kabaddi Association’s Joint Secretary Amit Kumar said that Bihar State Kabaddi Association’s secretary Kumar Vijay Singh inaugurated the trial by breaking coconut and getting introduced with the players.
He said that a total of 250 players took part in this trial, out of which 24 potential players were selected. A one-month training camp for these players will be organized at the Dev Kabaddi Academy from September 1. After the camp, a 12-member Patna district team will be selected which will participate in the state level tournament.
