Patna: On the basis of Satyam Kumar’s brilliant double century (202 runs, 112 balls, 21 fours, 13 sixes), YMCC scored a mammoth 437 for 4 wickets in the Patna District Senior Division Cricket League and defeated KNCC team by a huge margin of 243 runs. This was the record score set up by any team in the Patna District Senior Division Cricket League history in 40 overs a side match.
For YMCC, Suraj Kashyap scored 71 and Rishabh Rakesh scored 57 runs. Satyam also took 3 wickets.
At Gennex Cricket Academy Ground, YMCC won the toss and decided to bat first. Satyam and Suraj Kashyap started the innings. There was a partnership of 138 runs for the first wicket. The first blow came in the form of Suraj Kashyap. After this, Rishabh Rakesh and Virat Pandey batted brilliantly and supported Satyam to complete his century and double century.
