Patna: In the 21st Bihar State Sub Junior Boys and Girls Softball Championship being played at Ramana Ground in Sonepur, the teams of Saran, Vaishali, Bhojpur and Nalanda made it to the semi-finals. The semi-final and final matches will be played tomorrow on Sunday. This information was given by Rupak Kumar, Joint Secretary of Softball Association of Bihar.
In the match played today, Nalanda defeated Rohtas 8-4. Karunesh and Vineet scored two runs each for Nalanda. In the second match, Vaishali defeated Munger 16-2. Saran defeated Muzaffarpur 7-4. Patna made a comeback and defeated Munger 11-1. For Patna, Aman scored 3 runs and Shubham scored 3 runs.
The match between Bhojpur and Vaishali ended in a draw. Both the teams were tied at 11-11. In its next match, Nalanda achieved another victory and succeeded in reaching the semi-finals. Nalanda defeated Muzaffarpur 13-0. While Saran defeated Rohtas 7-5 and Vaishali defeated Patna 8-2 to reach the semi-finals.
In the girls category, Patna defeated Bhojpur 7-3. In the second match, Siwan beat Nalanda 8-5. Patna girls team defeated Nalanda 12-1. Saran defeated Bhojpur 10-0.
