Patna: The Invitation Shiva Enterprises Softball Boys Tournament, organised by the Saran Softball Association, concluded at the Dakbungalow ground in Sonpur with Saran defeating Patna 12-6 in the final match.
Shiva Enterprises’ owner Brajkishore Prasad, along with Vikash Kumar, presented medals to the winning and runner-up teams.
In the semi-finals, Patna edged out Siwan with a narrow 6-5 victory in the first match, while Saran secured a 10-3 win against Vaishali in the second match.
Outstanding players in the final included Yashvardhan Singh (Best Hitter), Raunak (Best Catcher), Umang Singh (Best Pitcher), and Shariq Ali (Best Fielder). Yashvardhan Singh also emerged as the top scorer with three home runs. The matches were officiated by umpires Vishnu Ranjan, Rajiv Ranjan, and Avinash Kumar, with Amit Kumar as the scorer. Special guests Vikash Kumar and Brajkishore Prasad motivated the players and distributed the awards.
