SAI, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh win their matches in National Sub Junior Kabaddi

Patna: On the second day of the 33rd National Sub Junior Kabaddi Championship, league matches were played between Karnataka and Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal, Rajasthan and the Sports Authority of India, Andhra Pradesh and Manipur, Punjab and Tamil Nadu, and Uttar Pradesh and Delhi at GD Goenka School ground in Motihari.

Karnataka beat Jammu and Kashmir by 65-29, Madhya Pradesh beat West Bengal by 52- 12, the Sports Authority of India beat Rajasthan by 41-37, Andhra Pradesh beat Maipur by 42-13, Punjab beat Tamil Nadu by 39-37 and  Delhi beat Uttar Pradesh by 37-26.

On the other hand, in last night’s match, Maharashtra defeated Gujarat, Jharkhand defeated Vidarbha, Goa defeated Uttarakhand, Karnataka defeated Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan defeated Delhi, Andhra Pradesh defeated Vidarbha, Punjab defeated Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh defeated West Bengal, the Sports Authority of India defeated Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand defeated Manipur, Bihar defeated Odisha, Haryana defeated Telangana, Maharashtra defeated Tripura, and Uttarakhand defeated Chhattisgarh in the league matches.

All the teams have been divided into eight pools, and 3 to 4 teams have been kept in one pool. The above information was provided by technical incharge Rana Ranjit Singh. East Champarasn District Kabaddi Association Secretary Bhanu Prakash said that the league matches would be finished by late tonight, and then knockout matches would start the next day.

The secretary of the Bihar State Kabaddi Association, Kumar Vijay, said that the organising committee is executing its work, paying attention to all aspects, and all the technical officials are completing the matches impartially. All the members of the organising committee, including organising committee Secretary Aditya Pandey, Pawan Saran, Arun Gupta, Tinku Ji, Abhishek Ranjan, Appu Kumar, Aman, and Vikash, were present on the occasion.
