Chandigarh: Roundglass Tennis Academy players shone at the All India Championship Series held at Zirkapur, Punjab, winning two titles and finishing second in three categories. 13 year old Vivaan Bidasaria was the star at the tournament winning the singles titles in both the Under 16 and Under 18 categories and later teamed up with Avi Aggarwal to finish second in the Under 18 doubles category. The academy girls also proved their mettle reaching the finals in two categories. Mansi Singh finished second in the Under 16 category while 13 year old Nancy Singh also finished second in the Under 18 category.
Vivaan beat Kshitij Sinha 6–0, 4-6, 6-1 in the finals of the U-16 category while the youngster later beat the same opponent in the U-18 category 6-3, 6-2 to complete his double. The pair of Vivaan and Avi were later beaten by Kshitij and Lakshya in a closely fought final 6-2, 5-7, 9-11 in the U-18 doubles. Mansi lost to Jasmine Kaur in the U-16 Girls finals 3-6, 3-6 while Nancy also lost to the same opponent in the U-18 final 2-6, 2-6.
