Roshan’s Century Powers Bihar Cricket Academy to a 153-Run Victory

Patna: Roshan Kumar of Bihar Cricket Academy delivered an outstanding century in the Abhishek Memorial Under-16 Cricket Tournament, organised by the Sardar Patel Sports Foundation. His unbeaten 124 runs led Bihar Cricket Academy to a resounding 153-run victory over Cosmo United. In another match, the School of Cricket secured a 50-run win against Cricket Academy of Bihar.

Roshan Kumar’s Century Seals Victory for Bihar Cricket Academy

In a match played at Bihar Cricket Academy, located at La Martiniere World School, Sampatchak, Bihar Cricket Academy won the toss and posted a formidable total of 288 runs for 5 wickets in 25 overs. Roshan Kumar’s scintillating century (124 not out) and Ravi Shankar’s half-century (54) were instrumental in the team’s dominant performance. Roshan hit 8 fours and 10 sixes in his 58-ball innings.

In reply, Cosmo United struggled to build momentum and were bowled out for 135 runs in 24.1 overs. The highest scorer for Cosmo United was extras with 31 runs, followed by Mohammad Sahil with 29 runs and Avinash Kumar with 24. Roshan Kumar was awarded the Rize Coaching Player of the Match by Ram Babu, Vice Principal of La Martiniere World School.

School of Cricket Triumphs Over Cricket Academy of Bihar

In another encounter, School of Cricket defeated Cricket Academy of Bihar by 50 runs. Batting first, School of Cricket posted 194 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs, with a brilliant 74-run knock by Abhinav Sinha and a solid 44 from Tejaswi Chauhan. Anuj Kumar was the standout bowler for Cricket Academy of Bihar, taking 3 wickets.

Cricket Academy of Bihar’s chase faltered, as they were all out for 144 runs in 18 overs. Faizuddin Alam’s unbeaten 38 was the only highlight of their innings. Pratik Sinha took 3 wickets for 18 runs, earning him the Rize Coaching Player of the Match award, presented by senior cricketer Abhishek Kumar.
