Patna, June 22: The match between Rest of Pataliputra Zone and Rest of Shahabad Zone in the BCA U-19 Super League being played at Sadishopur ground in Patna ended in a draw. Rest of Pataliputra Zone got three points based on first innings lead and Rest of Shahabad Zone got one point. Parth of Rest of Pataliputra Zone was declared the Man of the Match for his patient batting in both the innings.
Dipesh Gupta remained not out after scoring 74 runs in the second innings of Rest of Pataliputra Zone.
On the last day of the match, resuming at 125 for 9 Rest of Shahabad Zone were all out after scoring 130 runs. In the second innings, Rest of Pataliputra Zone declared their innings at 221 runs for 7 wickets in 50.3 overs with the help of 60 runs from Shrimukh, 42 runs from Parth and unbeaten 72 runs from Dipesh Gupta.
Chasing a target of 279 runs to win in the second innings, Rest of Shahabad Zone scored 141 runs for 5 wickets in 36 overs. For the Rest of Shahabad Zone, Prakash Kumar remained unbeaten with 41 runs and Harsh Raj contributed 32 runs and Sant Kumar contributed 42 runs. Abhinav of Rest of Pataliputra Zone took 3 wickets.
