Patna: In the final league match of the Patliputra University Inter-College Ball Badminton Tournament held at Jagat Narayan Lal College, Khagaul, Patna, Rest of College emerged victorious over RPS College, Patna, with scores of 35-25, 35-23, securing the title. Notable performances came from Shashikant, Gaurav, Rahul, Monu, and Prashant from Rest of College, while Shubham and Anshu from RPS College also displayed commendable skill.
In the women’s category, AN College, Patna, was declared the winner based on their performance in the round-robin league. Kundan Kumar from the College of Commerce, Patna, received the award for the best player of the tournament in the men’s category.
The prize distribution for the winners and runners-up was conducted by the chief guest, Dr. Girijesh Nandan Kumar, Head of the English Department at Jagat Narayan Lal College, and the special guest, Gouri Shankar, Secretary of the Bihar Ball Badminton Association. Dr. Syed Sarwar Imam, Sports Incharge of Jagat Narayan Lal College, extended a warm welcome to the guests.
