Patna: Softball Association Bihar has decided to appoint Ravi Rai, Bipin Kumar and Vijay Kumar as coaches for the training camp of the sub-junior, junior and senior teams for the national championships.
The association has also decided to organise a softball league and an inter-district softball championship. All the districts have been instructed to get all the softball players registered before March 1. This information was given by association’s general secretary Prachi Sharma after a meeting of the association held in Patna on Sunday.
She also said all sports activities in Bihar will be under the supervision of joint secretary. The meeting was presided over by association’s president Gautam Kanodia. Association’s vice presidents Sanjay Kumar, Sagun Singh, Raj Shekhar, Pranav Pandey , treasurer Pawan Kumar, joint secretary Rupak Kumar attended the meeting. Former secretary Madhu Sharma was also present as a special invitee.
