Ranji Trophy: Uttar Pradesh Dominates Bihar with 169-Run Lead as Abhishek Goswami Shines

Patna: An exciting Ranji Trophy First Class match between Bihar and Uttar Pradesh is underway at the Moinul Haq Stadium in Patna. Batting first, Bihar managed to score 248 runs in 86 overs in their first innings. Uttar Pradesh, in response, displayed a commanding performance, reaching 417 runs for the loss of just 2 wickets in 91 overs by the end of the second day’s play, securing a lead of 169 runs with eight wickets still in hand.

Despite their best efforts, Bihar’s bowlers faced a tough challenge against Uttar Pradesh’s batting lineup. Nawaz and Himanshu Singh managed to claim one wicket each, but the bowlers struggled to break the partnerships. Although Uttar Pradesh has strengthened its position in the match, Bihar is determined to make a comeback on the third day.
