Patna: Lakshya Cricket Academy defeated SKP Cricket Academy by five wickets in the inaugural match of Rambhavan Pandey Memorial Under-15 Inter School Cricket Tournament at Sanjay Gandhi Stadium here on Wednesday.
The tournament is being sponsored by VTech Computer Education and it is being organised under the aegis of Track Social Welfare Society.
Earlier the tournament was inaugurated by Vinita Kumari, W Srivastava (Social Worker), Ronit Narayan (MD VTech Computer Education), Rekha Kumari (MD VTech Computer Education), Ratan Kumar Sinha, Alpana Sinha, Savita Sinha by releasing the balloons in the air. Organising secretary Santosh Tiwari welcomed the guests. Arvind Kumar Sinha, Balram Srivastava, Bunty Kumar, Saurabh Jaipuria, Raj Harsh were guests of honour on this occasion.
Lakshya Cricket Academy won the toss and invited SKP Cricket Academy to bat first. Batting first, SKP Cricket Academy scored 155 runs losing all wickets in 24.2 overs. In reply, Lakshya Cricket Academy scored 157 runs for five wickets in 20 overs. Saurabh of the winning team was awarded man of the match.
