Patna: Railways beat Bihar by six wickets in the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy Cricket match in Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday.
Bihar won the toss and decided to bat first. The Bihar team scored 81 runs for nine wickets in 20 overs. For Bihar, Preeti scored 18 runs, captain Apoorva Kumari scored 11 runs, and Harshita scored 17 runs.
In reply, Railways won the match by scoring 85 runs for four wickets in 11.1 overs. Nuzhat Parveen scored 32 runs, D Hemlata scored 31 runs, and Mona scored 11 unbeaten runs.
For Bihar, Arya Seth took 2 wickets for 13 runs, Apoorva Kumari took 1 wicket for 21 runs, and Rachna Singh took 1 wicket for 22 runs. Bihar’s next match will be against Assam on October 26.
