Prashant Kishor Flags Off Bihar Bike Rally

By Vishwapati

Patna: Prashant Kishor, founder of the Jan Suraaj Party, launched a statewide bike rally from the Bihar Satyagraha Ashram near Marine Drive LCD Ghat in Patna on Sunday.

While addressing the media, Kishor revealed that 100 bikers, led by Anand Mishra, will traverse 20,000 kilometres across Bihar. The rally aims to amplify the voices of Bihar’s youth against the injustices and atrocities they face. Drawing parallels to his own padyatra across the state, Kishor emphasised that the party’s youth workers would similarly engage with Bihar’s youth through this bike journey.

Prashant Kishor Criticises Rahul Gandhi

In a sharp critique, Kishor targeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, pointing out that the caste census in Bihar was conducted under the Mahagathbandhan government. He urged Gandhi to acknowledge Congress’s historical role in Bihar’s governance, noting that Congress has held power in both Bihar and the country for extended periods.

Kishor further stated that if Congress could apologise for the 1984 Sikh riots, it should also apologise for the atrocities committed during the “Jungle Raj” era in Bihar, a period when the state government operated with Congress’s support.

The rally underscores Jan Suraaj’s mission to connect with Bihar’s youth and address their concerns through direct engagement.
