Piyush slams unbeaten 210 as Patna score 486/6

Patna: Thanks to Piyush Kumar Singh’s unbeaten double century and Akash’s century, Patna declared their innings after scoring 486 runs for six wickets on the second day of their three-day match against Darbhanga in the BCA Senior Men’s Cricket Tournament Super League. In reply, Darbhanga scored 259 runs for the loss of four wickets by the end of the second day’s play, thanks to Tripurari Keshav’s unbeaten century.

On the second day, Patna’s team, resuming at 362 runs for four wickets, declared the innings after scoring 486 runs for six wickets. Playing for Patna, Shasheem Rathore scored 46 runs, Animesh 4 runs, Babul 15 runs, Shlok 41 runs, Akash Raj 116 runs and Harsh Raj was out after scoring one run, while Piyush Kumar remained unbeaten after scoring 210 runs and Yashasvi Shukla remained unbeaten after scoring 19 runs. From Darbhanga’s side Manish and Mayank took two wickets each, and Tripurari and Navneet took one wicket each.

In reply, Darbhanga scored 259 runs at the loss of 4 wickets in their first innings till the end of second day’s play, and they are still 227 runs behind Patna in the first innings.

For Darbhanga’s side, Ayush Loharika scored 33 runs, Altamas 51 runs, Bhaswan Bhardwaj 17 runs and Sachin got out without opening his account, while Tripurari Keshav scored unbeaten 130 runs and Navneet Jha was unbeaten on 11 runs. For Patna’s side Apoorva Anand took two wickets, and Rupesh and Akash took one wicket each.
