Patna: Patna scored 362 for 4 in their first innings against Darbhanga in the BCA Senior Men’s Cricket Tournament Super League at the Moinul Haq Stadium here on Sunday.
Darbhanga won the toss and invited Patna to bat. At the end of the first day’s play, Patna were playing at 362 runs for four wickets, thanks to Piyush Kumar’s brilliant unbeaten century and Akash Raj’s unbeaten half-century. A total of 91 overs were played on the first day of the match.
Batting for Patna, Shasheem Rathore scored 46 runs (7 fours, 2 sixes), Animesh Kumar scored 4 runs, Babul Kumar scored 15 runs and Shlok Kumar was dismissed after scoring 41 runs, while Piyush (158 runs) and Akash (78 runs) were unbeaten at the crease. For Darbhanga, Manish Kumar took 2 wickets and Mayank and Navneet took one wicket each.
