Patna: Shasheem Rathore scored an unbeaten 112 runs as PESU beat Amar CC by 10 wickets in the Patna District Senior Division Cricket League at Urja Stadium on Wednesday.
In another match played at Gen-Nex Cricket Academy ground, GAC registered a resounding 128-run win over Adhikari XI
Batting first, GAC scored 214 runs for 7 wickets in 30 overs. Vineet Singh scored 78, Harshvardhan scored 47 not out while captain Shashi Anand scored 32 runs.
In reply, Adhikari XI managed to score 86 runs in 20.2 overs. Shantanu Chandra scored 20 runs. Kumar Rajneesh took five wickets for 11 runs. Kumar Rajneesh of the winning team was awarded the player of the match award.
Amar CC won the toss and elected to bat at Urja Stadium. Amar were all out for 145 runs in 39.2 overs. Baljit Singh Bihari scored 55 and Manjit Kumar scored 45 runs.
In reply, PESU won the match by scoring 149 runs in 12.3 overs without losing a wicket, thanks to Shasheem Rathor’s unbeaten century. Shasheem Rathore of the winning team was given the player of the match award.
