PDCA to organise Elite Senior Super League

Patna: The general body meeting of the Patna District Cricket Association (PDCA) was held here on Sunday in a local hotel. PDCA president Praveen Kumar Pranveer chaired the general body meeting. Decisions were taken after discussing point-wise as per the agenda of the meeting.

At first, the proceedings of the previous meeting were confirmed in the meeting. In the meeting, it was unanimously decided to organise Elite Senior Super League for the  quarterfinalist teams of last year’s senior division.

In the meeting, a thorough discussion was held on holding PDCA league matches together. Vijay Kumar Narayan Chunnu, former chairman of PDCA, proposed to conduct league matches together, in view of the interest of sports and players, on which a consensus was reached in the meeting and for this. Ravi Shankar Prasad Singh, former secretary of BCA was authorised to conduct the league. He will implement it after talking to the Bihar Cricket Association (BCA) officials. In the meeting, it was decided to keep the registration fee of all the clubs uniform at Rs 2000 per year from the current session 2022-23.

The meeting was moderated by PDCA secretary Sunil Kumar alias Sunil Rohit. PDCA joint secretary Shakti Kumar got the subject introduced in the meeting.

Patna High Court advocate Sanjeev Kumar Mishra was unanimously made the chief spokesperson of the PDCA in the meeting, while Manish Priyadarshi was appointed chairman of the association’s finance committee. Office bearers of 36 full member clubs participated in the meeting. Ashish Kumar proposed a vote of thanks.
