Patna: Patna beat Lakhisarai 70-25 to win the RSA Memorial Kabaddi Tournament in a one-sided final match at Patliputra Sports Complex on Sunday.
PKL team Patna Pirates coach Narendra Kumar felicitated the players of the winner and runner-up teams by presenting Patna Pirates jerseys. Apart from this, he also honoured Milita Anand, wife of late journalist Rajesh Kumar, by presenting a cheque of Rs 40,000.
On this occasion, officials of various sports associations, sports journalists, sports officials, journalism students and sports lovers were present.
Many dignitaries including former minister Neeraj Kumar Bablu and MLA Pawan Jaiswal were present as the guests.
Meanwhile, Patna Pirates coach Narendra Kumar selected two players from this tournament for training with Patna Pirates team.
