Patna: Patna Warriors confirmed their place in the finals of Rajkumar Mahaseth Patna District Senior Division Football League defeating Energy Yoga FA 5-3.
A fierce competition was witnessed between Patna Warriors and Energy Yoga in the first semi-final of this league at VN Sharma Institute, Khagaul, Danapur. Patna Warriors suffered a big blow in the very first minute of the game. Its player Vikas Singh scored a goal to give Energy Yoga a 1-0 lead. But after this goal, the coach of Patna Warriors trained his players, the benefit of which was seen in the 26th minute. In the 26th minute, T Abhay Meti scored a goal and brought his team to a 1-1 draw. After this the players of Patna Warriors became dominant. In the 35th and 37th minutes of the game, Rajan Oraon scored two consecutive goals to put Patna Warriors ahead 3-1.
After the lemon break, players of both the teams came on the field with new enthusiasm. As soon as the second half of the game started, Patna Warriors started making moves on the opposition camp. Md Arshad scored a goal in the 53rd and 58th minute of the game to give Patna Warriors a 5-1 lead.
After this, the players of Patna Warriors became a little lethargic, of which Energy Yoga took advantage and in the 76th minute of the game, Prakash Hembram and in the 80th minute, Vikas Kumar tried to make a comeback for the team by scoring a goal, but they did not succeed and Patna Warriors won this match 5-3.

Rajan Oraon of Patna Warriors was presented the Player of the Match award by Patna Football Association Vice President Ravi Shankar Kumar.
