Patna: The prize cum felicitation ceremony of Casa Picolla School Cricket League, organised by Turning Point, was held at the Premchand Rangshala in Patna on Thursday.
Patna Mayor Sita Sahu, President of Karni Sena (Bihar) Amit Singh Ujjain, Convenor of Karni Sena Rohit Singh, Rajesh Sharma, MD Casa Picolla inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp. Vijay Sharma and Pooja, Directors of Turning Point welcomed the guests.
Turning Point’s director cum organising chairman Vijay Sharma said that veteran personalities who have played an important role in the development of education, medicine, media, sports and other fields were honoured.
The players of the winner JIS Jabanz and runner-up Oxford Super King teams and the best performing players in the tournament were honoured and awarded. On this occasion, the owner of JIS Janbaaz gave tickets to the players of his team for the IPL match to be held in Kolkata.
The players were felicitated and awarded by many dignitaries including Bihar Labour Resources Minister Surendra Sharma and President of Bihar Players Association Mrityunjay Tiwari.
