Patna, July 6, 2022: New Covid positive cases are on the rise in Bihar as the state reported 318 cases in the last 24 hours. Patna recorded the most 182 new cases followed by Bhagalpur 30 and Banka 16.
With this the total number of active cases surged to 1296.
Though, there is a bleak chances of fourth wave in the country but sudden spurt in the cases has worried the administration.
The administration has already launched vaccination drive across the state and precautionary does aka booster dose is being administered to all age groups people free of cost at government vaccination centres.
The testing of Covid has also increased and people as a precautionary measures people are rushing to testing centres if they are suffering from cold and cough.
