Patna: Patna High Court on Thursday issued notice to the president of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), its secretary, president of Bihar Cricket Association (BCA), its secretary, Committee of Management of BCA after hearing the arguments of advocate Abhinay Srivastava.
In July 2021, on behalf of the Cricket Association of Bihar, its secretary Aditya Verma told the court about all the illegal activities of the president of the Bihar Cricket Association, the illegal operation of the Bihar Cricket League and gave all the information by giving a letter to the BCCI. He said that the silence of the BCCI was responsible for the plight of Bihar cricket.
After 30 minutes of debate, the court took cognizance and issued a notice. The advocate of the Registration Office of the Government of Bihar received the notice in the court. The court also sought reply from the BCCI and BCA within four weeks. The further hearing of the case will be held after the reply.
