Patna: In the Patna District Senior Division Cricket League being played under the aegis of Patna District Cricket Association, PAC defeated Sharma Sporting by 3 wickets in the match played on Wednesday. Ranjan Rai (47 runs, 2 wickets) of the winning team was awarded the Player of the Match.
At 22 Yard Cricket Academy Ground, Sharma Sporting won the toss and decided to bat first. On the basis of good batting by captain Anees (58 not out) and Aman (44 runs), Sharma Sporting scored 234 runs for nine wickets in the stipulated 40 overs. Sachin scored 23 and Rishi scored 36 runs. For PAC, Shambhu and Ranjan Rai took two wickets each while Nishant, Roshan, Kumud Ranjan and Ayan Sinha took one wicket each.
