NMDC Shines at National Public Relations Education Day: Shri Ch. Srinivasa Rao Honored with Best PR Manager Award

Hyderabad, August 7, 2024 – National Public Relations Education Day, celebrated by the Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) Hyderabad Chapter and the CVN Public Relations Foundation, took place at Begumpet, Hyderabad. The event was graced by Capt. N Uttam Kumar Reddy, Minister for Irrigation, Food & Civil Supplies, Government of Telangana, who served as the Chief Guest, along with other esteemed figures from the PR and communication sectors.

A major highlight of the evening was the recognition of NMDC Limited for its exemplary achievements in corporate communication and public relations. Shri Ch. Srinivasa Rao, Deputy General Manager (Corporate Communications) at NMDC, received the prestigious “Dr. CVN-PRSI Best PR Manager of the Year – 2024” award. This honor celebrates his outstanding contributions to enhancing NMDC’s public relations strategies and reinforcing the company’s stellar corporate image. This accolade underscores NMDC’s unwavering commitment to excellence in communication and cements its status as a leader in the industry.

The event also celebrated the remarkable accomplishments of top students from various universities who have excelled in the field of public relations. Their awards highlighted the importance of nurturing emerging talent and ensuring the continued growth and innovation within the PR profession.

Distinguished speakers included Sri K Sreenivas Reddy, Chairman of Telangana Media Academy; Prof. Jagat Bhushan Nadda, Director, Consortium of Educational Communication, Government of India; and Dr. Ajit Pathak, National President of PRSI. They shared insightful perspectives on the evolving role of public relations in the digital age. The occasion was further enriched by the launch of “Ramaneeya Gnapakalu,” a book authored by Smt. C. Rama Devi, Chairperson of the CVN Public Relations Foundation.
