Patna: In the ongoing Indradev Rai Memorial Cricket Tournament at Sanjay Gandhi Stadium, NMCC defeated Kumar Club by six wickets in a match held on Saturday.
Kumar Club won the toss and elected to bat first. With AS Ravi contributing a solid 50 runs, Kumar Club managed to score 129 runs before being bowled out in their allotted 20 overs. NMCC’s Kumar Shan shone with the ball, taking three wickets for 18 runs, while Vikas Kumar claimed two wickets for 12 runs.
In response, NMCC chased down the target with ease, scoring 130 runs for the loss of four wickets in just 15.1 overs. Key contributions came from Abhishek Kumar (35 runs) and Vikas Krishna (29 runs). Abhishek Kumar’s all-round performance, which included 35 runs and one wicket, earned him the Player of the Match award, presented by PR Srivastava, President of Kumar Club.
