- Patna to host 68th Junior National Ball Badminton Championship in November
Patna: As per the instructions of the Ball Badminton Federation of India, the annual general meeting of Bihar Ball Badminton Association was held today at Hotel Maitreya Inn, Boring Road, Patna. Election Officer and Patna High Court advocate Manoj Kumar Sinha conducted the elections of the association.
Bihar Legislative Council member Prof. Nawal Kishore Yadav was re-elected unopposed as president and Gouri Shankar was re-elected secretary of the Bihar Ball Badminton Association. Kaushal Dixit, Joint Secretary of the Ball Badminton Federation of India and Secretary of Uttar Pradesh Ball Badminton Association, was the observer while the Naresh Chauhan, assistant director (youth), Department of Art, Culture and Youth, Government of Bihar was the observer. from state government. Representatives of 30 districts affiliated to Bihar Ball Badminton Association participated in the Annual General Meeting.
After the completion of the elections, the re-elected President of the Association, Prof. Nawal Kishore Yadav said that the 68th Junior National Ball Badminton Championship (Boys and Girls) will be organized in Patna in the last week of November. As per its annual programme, Bihar Ball Badminton Association will organize Gold Cup tournament and Association Cup tournaments in addition to State Sub Junior, Junior and Senior Ball Badminton Championships.
