Patna, July 29: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has named four cubs of tigress Sangeeta born at Patna Zoo recently. The Bihar CM gave the name on the occasion of International Tiger Day. The names of the male cubs are Kesari, Magadh and Vikram while the female cub has been named Rani.
However, the Bihar forest and environment minister Neeraj Kumar Singh officially announced the names at Patna Zoo on Friday.
Meanwhile, International Tiger Day was celebrated in city with great enthusiasm. ECO Task Force of Patna Women’s College formed human chain to propagate the message to save tiger. Some children wearing the tiger kit had a battery-run auto drive at Patna zoo.
