Patna: Kho-Kho is a traditional Indian game dating back to ancient India. Kho-kho is the most popular game in the subcontinent. This traditional Indian game is very popular in Bihar. The Kho-Kho Association of Bihar has taken a major decision to increase its popularity, especially at the grassroots level, and to increase the interest of boys and girls in it. The association has decided to organise the First Bihar Girls Kho-Kho League in June.
Giving this information, Neeraj Kumar Pappu, general secretary of the Kho-Kho Association of Bihar, said that the selection trial of girl players for different teams of the league will be held in Munger on May 7. Women players of all districts can directly participate in this open selection trial, irrespective of their age.

Pappu said the players of the participating teams will be selected on the basis of trials. The players who perform well in the league will be given a chance to participate in the state team for different national Kho-Kho championships. It is mandatory for all girl players to have online registration on the website of the Kho-Kho Federation of India for the trials, without registration, players will not be allowed to participate in the selection process or league.
