PATNA: Union minister for textiles and women and child development Smriti Irani on Sunday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi had refined the nature of politics in India and restored the credibilty of the political class in the country.
Addressing the gathering at Gyan Bhawan here after releasing ‘Modi@ 20—Sapney Huay Sakar’, a book on 20 years of the political journey of the Prime Minister, Irani said people would be inspired by compilation of chapters authored by 21 eminent intellectuals and domain experts of the country.
“Modi is mantra, method and mission. This mantra is not only for success, but also offers solutions various problems. The method is not only for governance, it is also to empower the organization. And the mission is not only to make the BJP a successful party, but also to make India a world power,” Irani said.
“The Prime Minister visualised the concepts of Jal Shakti, Urja Shakti, Raksha Shakti and Jan Shakti and ensured that all these schemes for the poor were made available with transparency to the last beneficiary,” she said.
BJP’s national general secretary Vinod Tawde, who also arrived here on his maiden visit after being appointed party’s Bihar in-charge, said the tenure of Modi as Prime Minister has made it very clear that the country would run on the principle of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas (collective efforts, inclusive growth)
Refuting the allegations that BJP was a “communal party”, Tawde said the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government of the BJP had made Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam as the President of the country.
He said the Congress had not been able to level even a single charge of corruption against the Modi government even after being in power at the Centre for eight years.
Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly Vijay Kumar Sinha, Union ministers Giriraj Singh and Ashwini Kumar Choubey, senior BJP leaders Harish Dwivedi, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Sushil Kumar Modi, Bhikhubhai Dalsania, Ram Kripal Yadav, Arun Kumar Sinha, Nand Kishore Yadav, Shahnawaz Hussain, Rituraj Sinha, Sanjeev Chaurasia and Gopal Narayan Singh were among those present on the occasion.
