Patna: Yet another drubbing for Bihar in the Senior Women’s One Day Trophy! This time, Maharashtra drubbed Bihar by 10 wickets at the Amingaon Cricket Ground in Guwahati on Friday. This was the fifth straight defeat for Bihar in this tournament.
Opting to bat first after winning the toss, Bihar were bowled out for a paltry 22 runs in 11.2 overs. This was the lowest score of Bihar in this tournament. Not a single batter from Bihar reached double figures.
Maharashtra used only two bowlers to finish off Bihar’s innings. S B Pokharkar took four wickets for 10 runs in six overs for Maharashtra, while U A Pawar took five wickets for 7 runs in 5.2 overs.
In reply, Maharashtra achieved the target without losing a wicket.
